Adio footwear has been around since the late 1990s. Danny Montoya was one of their first highly prized skaters back then (Danny Montoya is the creator of Listen Skateboards). Then they got Kenny Anderson on the team, then Bam and then a few other. Their big video release was called One Step Beyond. That video came out in 2001. Kris Markovich has the last part in that video. I'll never forget I witness them film a part of that video at UC Irvine. This kid at the time, Jason Jones, attempted a 21 stair boardslide on this rail of death. To this day I don't think anyone has attempted a hairier rail than that one (except Heath Kirchart tried to lipslide it). The sketchy thing about this rail was that it had a shear drop on one side, it's not like El Toro where you will roll down some stairs if you fall. Nope, if you mess up on this rail you go over the cliff about two stories and probably land on your head.
