How to put griptape on a skateboard - Page 2:
3. Start applying pressure on the center of your board.
You want to rub the griptape into the board. Like you threw glue down and sprinkled sand on top of it. Rub it in. Press hard and work your way to both board edges. Move slowly to avoid air bubbles.
4. Work outwards towards the nose and tail.
5. Really concentrate on the edges and transitions.
You want to make sure that you get the grip to stick good around the edges. Also where the nose and tail begin (in that little valley), focus on those areas too.
