This is the latest video from Baker. It's usually the videos that make them famous. And each time they step it up a little more. However, I really recommend you get Baker Bootleg. It's the first video. When they made Baker Bootleg, Baker Skateboards didn't even exist yet. It was just a video. I think Andrew Reynolds and Jay Strickland made the video because they wanted to do something a little less serious than your average skate video - or rather make a video with their own style and flavor. Anyway, the video was kind of an underground hit and sure enough two skateboard companies formed out of it: Baker Skateboards and Bootleg Skateboards. Andrew Reynolds directed Baker, while Jay Strickland led Bootleg. Eventually Bootleg folded (probably because it didn't follow the skateboarding success formula -> skateboard companies do best when they are started by legendary pros). Regardless Bootleg was an awesome company while it lasted. You should check out Bootleg 3000 if you get the chance.

I have seen some of the parts, and of those its an awesome video. Terry kennedys part is sick as hell, hes really good. and he made his own music too. Andrew reynolds part is just amazing, king of fs flips, his part is wicked sick too. Bryan hermans part, amazing. Erik ellingtons part, amazing. Jim grecos part, beginning is funny but his part is sick too. Out of what ive seen of this video its a really sick video, and its just basic, but its good like that, it doesnt need fully flared editing, the skating in this is just pure talent.

Just from watching the intro you get a feel of what their all about, and it just reminds you that the don't care about what people think of them. The video starts off with Erik Ellington just killing it. He straight cruises hitting everything in the way, and gets buck with a backside bigspin down the Carlsbad gap. His skating gives off so much energy. Next in line was Jeff Lenoce who really busted out some gnarly switch and nollie skating. He skated all types of terrain with a buch of different tricks. He showed what he had by skating to Andre Nikitina dropping hammers. After Jeff was Bryadon Safrenski who got evil with some Black Sabbath dropping hammers throughout the whole part with tricks like fakie full cab flip, and huge kickflip shitys. Following is Antwan Dixon who destroyed everything. The way this guy skates is like non other, he skates with such a relaxed style doing tricks nobody else has done down some og spots. The montages they had like the friends section was really fun to just watch and see what they put in it. It was real mellow and gave off a pure skateboarding image. Then came the drunkest of them all Dustin Dollin, hitting everything from big rails, tranny, ledges, and shots Jager with a nutty ender. The only words i can use to describe his way of skating is off the wall. Theotis Beasley and Rammy Issa are two young guns that really know how to get down. Making their first Baker appearance a real good one with 360 flips and switch heels down some real sets. They brought the best out of the basics. Reynolds coming with an amazing part as usaul. This could be one of the greatest parts of all time, he pushes it to the max by starting his part with a monsterous frontside flip down the Hollywood High handrail. His part was full of original lines with quick set-ups and flowing ledge tricks. Of course he was dropping huge frontside flips and switch frontside flips, but then again he was dropping all the huge favorites and much more. After watching this part you will completely understand why he is one of the most respected skaterboarders of our time. After the Boss is Terry Kenedy, rippen shit during his whole part skating like always. He shows how gangster he really is in this part. Trailing him is Spanky shredding with his own unique style. He does some nutty tricks such as backside 360 kickflips and even a couple darkslides. His part was also full furious handrail tricks. Jim Creco proves himself again with another crazy part hitting up some old school spots with some new tricks and hitting up some new spots with some old tricks, like his part ending switch frontside flip you have to see for your self. And he still is wearing some pretty outrageous gear. Last but not least come Bryan Herman who slayed everything he skated with David Bowie playing in the backround. He was rifling off buttery tre flips and hardflips. He also ended the video on a proper note with an overcrook stealfish down Hollywood High. After all the serious parts are over there is the ending montage with a lot of luaghs and footage of how the team lived and got down. What made this video so good was the line up of skateboarders, the way it was edited and its awsome souind track that just all blended together so smooth. This one was an instant classic.

Baker 3, the third video released by Baker skateboards, the trilogy to Baker Bootleg and Baker 2g. This video features full length parts from Erik Ellington, Jeff Lenoce, Braydon Szafranski, Antwuan Dixon, Dustin Dollin, Terry Kennedy, Andrew Reynolds, Kevin Long, Jim Greco and Bryan Herman. This video features tons of great skating with guest appearances from Theotis Beasley, Rammy Issa and Beagle. This is a very simple video with some great tricks, frontside flip over the Hollywood High 16 rail, big spin down the Carlsbad gap and even more! Running at 50 minutes long this video is very entertaining especially for the price. Now for the cons... The video was filmed by Beagles on a TRV900 and Century Optics Mark1 death lens, which is a pretty good setup, but looks extremely unprofessional, as if it were filmed by an 8 year old. The video was well put together, but the editing could have been achieved in Windows Movie Maker and had nothing special to it. This is of course coming from a film makers point of view. All in all the video is very entertaining and the skating is great, but the cinematography and editing are that of a beginner, I'd rate this video 6/10.
