The Chocolate Tour was a skateboarding video put out by Chocolate Skateboards and Girl Skateboards in 1999. In the late 1990s only a few skateboard videos were put out a year that were of any significance and this was one of them.

The Chocolate Tour is more like a movie than a traditional skateboard video. The premise is that the team of younger Chocolate skaters need to bail out their older Girl elders from getting kicked out of their convalescence home. (The Girl Skateboards team has gotten really old and they are short on rent). The only way to save them is hustle a bunch of money within 24 hours to get the old Girl team out of trouble.

The opening scene are clips of Tim Gavin. The Girl/Chocolate family thanks Tim for everything he has done for skateboarding. The one thing that has always made me wonder about this video is that the skating is not necessarily mind blowing, but the style is pretty good. I not sure if they were trying to push this style over hammers idea back then or if they just didn't try that hard for their video parts. For instance, Guy Mariano has only a three clip video part in this video. Apparently this is one of the most talked about video parts of all time (maybe I am getting this confused with Mouse)??
