Flip was super popular in 2002. They had just release Sorry (their first video I think) and they had the best skateboard team in the world. Tom Penny had just come out of hiding, Mark Appleyard was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and then they had this kid Bastien Salabanzi who came out of France simply killing it. The funniest part was no one on the team was an American. They were all untouchable. Their skating was gnarly and intense and pretty much sealed the deal for the next few years.

if you want to learn many flip tricks buy a flip they have a lot of flick and decent pop. lasts a long time and is great for everyday use. My favorite brand and many others favorite. Flip is the best i have ever used.

Flip is the best skateboard i ever rode on! Many of the tricks that i have landed were on this deck. It's super-durable! I highly recommend it!
