Girl Skateboards was created by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard back in 1993. It was an offshoot of some bad blood over at World Industries. Girl has always had a different style from the rest of skateboarding. I'm not sure how to describe it, it's kind of like a more refined artsy style. Their skaters are usually more technically inclined and their boards tend have little concavity and small tails.

Girl has a close relationship with Val Surf a skate shop in the San Fernando Valley. A lot of people who have ridden for that shop have ended up on Girl.

Girl skate videos are usually big events. They don't release videos all that often, but every time they do it's a pretty big deal. When Yeah Right came out in 2003, we could never have enough copies around.

girl skateboards are very good. they have every thing you can get out of a skateboard deck. they have "pop" , nice concave , nice nose for better and easier flick , and the team is great! girls are the best!!!

My first skateboard was girl I was 7 years old when I got it I had got it for christmas and it was awseome it had great pop and concave so until that day I skated girl skateboards ever since so girl skateboards rock

I have been skating Girl skatebords my WHOLE life. There amazing and i plan to keep riding them. Girl boards have good pop in them and have multiple choices of awesome board designs. Girl even has some of the best pro skaters on there team, for example; Greg Lutzka, Alex Olson, Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, and Jeron Wilson. So I think that Girl i the best skateboard brand in the world!

Girl is My second favorite brand followed by element. I am a girl and i am 13. I can do a few tricks like, ollie, kickflip, pop-shuv it, manual, and can almost board slide. Girl sounds like the bored i want.
