Jay Adams is one of the legendary Dogtown skateboarders of the 1970s. He was one of the first people to take skating to pools. A native Santa Monica / Venice local, he will always be remembered as one skateboarding's most influential innovators.

These trucks by Grindking are specially designed for Jay's style of skating. The trucks are meant for boards that are wider than 8 inches and probably go into pools a lot. The axle width is 8.75 inches (Note: this is not the hanger width. The hanger width is shorter.).
