Patt Duffy
Pat Duffy is an extraordinary skateboarder that deserves way more recognition than he gets. At least the fact that he was brought over to the "new" Plan B Skateboards says something to this effect. He really is one of the best skateboarders of all time. Pat Duffy was an innovator. He still shreds as hard as he did in 1991.
Pat Duffy was known as the "King of Rails" in the early 1990s. He was one of the first skateboarders to smith grind 12 stair hand rails in the early 1990s - way before anyone else was doing them. It appears he went big "too early" and either skateboarding wasn't a big enough industry yet to properly reward him, or people just didn't seem to notice. For some reason when Jamie Thomas and Chad Muska started doing big rails every went nuts.
What makes Pat a real trooper is he continued to kill it for almost two decades - probably the longest run for any big rail skater. Pat does skate more terrain than just rails these day. Watch Transworld's Are You Alright video for some of Pat's latest destruction.
Patt Duffy has been on Plan B Skateboards, Think Skateboards and World Industries and back to Plan B again :)
