Speed Demon ABEC 3 Bearings

$6.99
Here is a little secret: Speed Demons are really cheap and they are not bad as far as skateboard bearings go. If you are on a budget, I would throw these into your basket to make that complete skateboard a little more affordable.

If you are gnarly hammer-smith kind of skater, doing big sets of stair, hand rails - you might want to go with a more robust set of bearings like Bones.

While these aren't the fastest or most durable bearings out there, they're more than worth the price at $7 per set and skate better than many more expensive bearings. Try popping the shields off to increase the speed, although some people say this reduces the durability. Overall, good quality for how much you pay.

I really like Speed Demon bearings. You can usually find them pretty cheap and they last long enough. They spin pretty fast too. It use to be that back in the 1990s, Speed Demons were not very good bearings. They tended to fall apart past and seemed to have very sticky, greasy lubricant that appeared to make the bearing spin really really slow. But around 2004 that all seemed to change. I would say that Speed Demons are a good alternative to Bones Reds Bearings these days.
