Spitfire has long been one of the dominant skateboard wheel manufacturers. They have one hell of a team and they make pretty good wheels. The one thing we are starting to notice is a shift back to regular all urethane wheels. For most of this decade skateboard wheel companies have been focusing on different types of plastic inserts in their wheels to either lose weight or increase rotational inertia of their wheels.
However, it seems that pro skaters are not feeling these designs. I looks like they prefer the regular urethane wheels that were the common design of the 1990s. We would have to suspect this because these insert crack or the bearings start slipping inside the wheels. Has anyone had this experience?

awesome wheels.great team. I have had a lot of spitfires and i really like them. They are pretty hard wheels, but they're really good. After a while its hard to get the bearings out. But other than that they're really good, they have good grip, and are really smooth.

You can't beat the classics. Great feel and grip and adaptable to tranny or street. I recommend the street burners for those who do more blunt slides and power slides.

spitfires are sick. i got some park burners on right now. they dont seem to get flat spots easily and they're really smooth, i strongly suggest some, maybe some rictas too, but definitely some spitfires.

Spitfire wheels are ok although i prefer other brands like Bones stf . I have had them on my current setup since september and they are still going strong. The only downside is that the wheels are starting to cone, but that hasnt started until recently so these wheels are very durable. In the beginning the wheels feel kind of rubbery so little pieces might break off but after that the wheels become much better and pieces dont break off. Also the wheels get very small after a while and although this is normal in wheels, it happens much faster with Spitfire's. Despite these downsides these wheels are good and they dont flatspot as much as other brands like mini logo.
