Stereo Skateboards is famously associated with the actor Jason Lee. You may have recognized him from the Kevin Smith movie Chasing Amy and the T.V. show My Name Is Earl. Jason Lee started as a pro skateboarder in the early 1990s and supposedly invented the 360 kickflip (which is pretty crazy considering that is probably skateboarding most favorite trick). He went on to follow a career in acting while Stereo Skateboards disbanded around 1995 or 96. Around 2003 Chris Pastras and Jason Lee got back together again to relaunch Stereo Skateboards with more style and class than ever.

We honestly thought this brand wouldn't last long on it's second attempt (simply because there are thousands of skateboard brands out there), but it's still hangin tough. Good job guys.

Jason Lee didn't invent the 360 kickflip, Rodney Mullen did. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodney_Mullen
