Zero started out as a clothing concept called "Zero Division" by Toy Machine pro Jamie Thomas. It first got exposure in Toy Machine skate video intermissions (video commercials). By 1996 Zero was launched as a full fledged skateboard brand and hit the streets running. The first two videos Thrill of it All and Misled Youth made Zero very popular and brought big rail skating to the forefront of skateboarding. Again, here is another example of a popular skateboard brand that was started by a top ten pro skater (just a little advice to those who are thinking of starting a skateboard brand).
